Ingredients
- Mixed cherry tomatoes (e.g., plum, sweet, vine) 250g
- Burrata cheese 1 x 125g ball
- Fresh basil leaves 1 large handful
- Extra virgin olive oil 2 tbsp
- Balsamic glaze 1 tbsp
- Garlic 1 clove, finely minced
- Sea salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Method
- Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Arrange them on a serving plate or shallow bowl.
- Gently tear the burrata ball in half and place it on top of the tomatoes.
- Scatter the fresh basil leaves over the salad.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, and balsamic glaze.
- Drizzle the dressing evenly over the burrata and tomatoes.
- Season generously with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
